Kimiko stood in the center of the training area, still, her feet planted firmly on hte dark earth beneath her. She stood, watching a leaf as it fell from a sakura tree in front of her. She was so still it seemed as though she wasn't even breathing at all. Kimiko's eyes grew sharp, and she gathered a breze, and then a wind, and turned it into a harsh wind, and blew it at herself. Hard. Her gaol was to stay there, still, grounded and not move, no matter how hard the wind pushed her, and so far, she hadn't moved, she stayed firm. Kimiko waited a moment before letting the wind die down into a soft breeze. She then took a few steps, and looked aorund. Kimiko gave a smile as she watched a sparrow flutter into one of the sakura trees. She then turned around, and looked behind her. There was a small koi stream, filled with beautiful fish and surrounded by plants and flowers. Kimiko gave a sigh, and folded her kimono underneath her, and sat on her heels, looking into the water. "I will be a warrior, and will make the dragons proud." she said to herself. "Darkness shall not rule Japan." she finished. She looked up at the sky, as it began to rain. She looked up and stretched out her hands, feeling the cool rain touch the palms of her hands. She looked up at the now grey sky, and thought about the rain, and the Ryuujin. She would find them, and make the Dragons proud.

Otoha wondered down the pathway towards the stream, he had just come from a fight with a local swordsman who thought he could shake Otoha; he was wrong but managed to make a deep gash in Otoha’s shoulder. He would not be able to use it for a few days, maybe even a few weeks. He felt his hand get warm and wet, he removed it from atop his right shoulder his sword arm to fid blood flowing down his arm, and seep through his fingers. It smelled and was starting to sting, he grinded his teeth and hurried down the path finally coming to the stream.
It had started to rain but he did not care, he removed his hat, placing it beside him as he crouched, his long black hair grew wet and plastered to his back, his dark brown eyes concentrated on his wound, rubbing cool water on it. He took in a sharp intake of breathe, and his eyes soon flickered upwards to a young Asian woman across the stream from him dancing in the rain. His almond shaped eyes widened and Otoha soon forgot about his deep crimson cut.

Kimiko smiled, her eys closed, and she was psinning as the the rain fell over her. She smiled and laughed, enjoying life, just the way it was. She threw off her hat, not caring where it would land, and felt the rain dampen her hair, and soon, water was dripping off the ends of it. She laughed again before letting herself fall backwards on to teh grass near the stream, breathing hard, but hte rain was cool on her. She sat up, her eyes still closed, and caught her breath. She then looked up at the sky one more. "Wonderful.." she whispered to herself, then turned to look ta the lake, with a joyful smile clear on her face, and she noticed a man. She wondered howl ong he had been there and if he had seen her...strange behavior. "Oh...hello." she said in her naturaly soft, gentle voice. She then noticed his arm was red, obviously from blood from a wound. "You are injured." she said concerned, and moved to be sitting on her heels again, the osund of the rain hitting the ground almost drowned out her soft words. "Are you allright?" she asked, her eyes filled with worry.

Otoha watched the young woman spin and enjoy the rain, he watched as she removed her hat, and fell onto the wet grass. Otoha found himself smiling slightly, but not overly. He then looked slightly shocked when he saw her see him, Otoha’s eyes looked down at the blood now flowing freely into the stream. He looked back up to her strands of his black hair clinging to his face. He said nothing but nodded to her two questions. He moaned slightly when he shifted and stood, his wound was clean and he’d go back to the village for bandages. As he looked at the young woman once more he then turned quickly and proceeded up the hill from when he came. Then crouching he grasped his now bleeding shoulder and fell to his knees. The wound was worst then what he had expected, Otoha felt his fingers warm again, then his vision go blurry as he fell onto his back his dark brown eyes looking up into the sky.

Kimiko watched him, fear in her eyes, hoping that he would be allright. The wound seemed bad, and she knew that men were not the kind to admit it. She stood up as he left, and wtached him leave, walking up the hill. She was about to speak, but didn't, and a slight sigh escaped her lips. She watched him for a moment, and saw him fall, ending up on hte gorund. She covered her mouth with worry, and ran up the hill, trippping slightly on the wet, slippery grass. She knew she wasn't strong enough to carry him, but she summoned a warm wind to lift him up into her arms, and used the wind to greaten her srength, she them ran down the hill, almost stumbling, but pushed herself up again with the wind. She ran along the path to her house, they sky rumbling with thunder, and the rain started to pour harder, falling hard and stinging her skin. She winced slightly as it hit her, but tried her best to cover the wounded man in her arms. It seemed like years before she was standing at the entry to her home. She pushed open the dorr, then layed against it, slamming it shut, then ran and set the man on her bed. She then ran and got cloth and tied it over his wound. She looked at him for an instant, worry in her eyes, then went to start a fire.

Otoha moaned as he stirred, his almond shaped eyes opening and he soon found himself staring at a wood ceiling. His eyes looked around his vision unbluring. His black hair fell into his eyes and his eyes soon settled on the woman who he had seen dancing at the stream. Otoha sat himself up and saw the bandaged around his arm soaked in blood. He watched the young girl hurry around her home Otoha smirked and laid himself back down onto the white sheets.

Kimiko sat at the fire, shivereing slightly, for the wind had begun to blow. "Giah.." she mumbled and stood up, going to the window. She smiled, and made it still around her house. The wind stopepd, and it became slightly warmer. She then looked at the fire, kneeled down and blew on the flames trying to make them larger. They started burning a little more and she stood up. She then ran through the hall and grabbed some herbs, before running to the fire to make some tea to help the man heal. She put some water in the pot and looked over to the man before dropping in the ingredients. "I hope he is allright..." she said to herself, really having no clue that he was conscious.

Otoha forced himself to sit up and looked to the young woman who was making him a herb tea. He swung his legs over the side of the bed; he stood to his feet and slightly went off balance. He gripped the bed’s edge and grabbed his shoulder with his other hand. It still stung but did feel slightly better. He looked up black strands of his hair falling into his dark brown almond eyes. “I…I want to ask, why did you help me?” he asked as he stepped closer to the young girl he saw how beautiful see looked, Otoha looked away his semi-tanned skin showing signs of blushing.

Kimiko smiled, glad to see he was allright, but then her look softened as she saw him clasp his shoulder. "Pleasae, sit, rest." she said softly, evem more so than usual. She went over and palced a hand on his good shoulder before giving him a small smile and answering him. "I would not just leave you there. If someone needs help, it is the responsibilty of the passer-by to assist them. It would not have been right to leave you there." she said to him.

Otoha nodded and walked closer his hand still grasping his shoulder; his other hand came to rest on the young woman’s shoulder. She was a complete stranger and had helped him. Otoha wasn’t much to say thank you to a person, or talk to anyone for that matter. Otoha went in closer to the young woman and took his hand off his wounded shoulder and placed it on the woman’s, so now both his hands rested gently on her shoulders. Otoha’s dark eyes searched hers and he leaned forward, he felt weak and felt like he was about to fall. He stumbled forward and rested his head on her chest; he then slumped to the floor, accidentally taking her down gently with him. Otoha laid himself down onto the cold floor as his eyes looked up to her; he then closed them half way.

Kimiko's eyes fileld with worry as he began to fall, and she wrapped her arm aorund his waist to keep him up, and kneeled down as he fell. She looked into his eyes, scared for him. "You will be allright." she said assuringly. She then lifted his head and layed it on her lap. Her kimono had dried slighlty from being near the fire. She then put her hand gently over his wound, and looked at him sadly. But then to assure him she looked at him with a smile. She then began to talk to him. She knew that if he lost consciousness, he might not wake up... "I am Kimiko, what is your name?" she asked gently.

Otoha moaned and shifted as he felt his head placed in the warm lap of the young woman, who he now knew as Kimiko. Otoha looked up and his eyes met with hers. “My name is Oto..ha..” he said breathing inwardly. He breathed harshly and closed his eyes; he turned onto his side and felt the warm fire warm his skin, he felt the soft texture of Kimono’s kimono, his hand grasp the fabric and he felt his eyes pulling shut, but he fought to keep them open, trying his best to pay attention to his surroundings. Otoha had never been this close to a woman before and he found himself at peace, it was a comfterable thought.

Kimiko smiled at him. "It is an honor to meet you, Otoha." she said and nodded, then gasped and put her hand gently on his face. "Please, you must stay awake. I know you need rest, but it is dangerous to sleep." she said. "Are you hungry, Otoha?" she asked. She then reache up and pulled a blanket off of her bed and palced it over him gently. "You need to keep warm.." she added with a small smile, trying to comfort him.

Otoha shifted when Kimiko placed the blanket onto him, he sat up slightly and placed his hand on hers when it touched his face. He sat fully up now and lowered her hand; he shook his head to her question if he was hungry. Instead Otoha found himself leaning more towards her, his lips brushed her cheek as his head fell more towards her pale neck. Otoha was not thinking at this moment, due to his major blood lose. Otoha’s hands wrapped gently around Kimiko’s waist pulling her closer to his cold body, his head now resting between her shoulder and neck.

Kimiko was surprised at Otoha's actions, and her face turned pink with blush. She placed her hand gently on his shoulder, and didn't fight him. She didn't know why, but liked it. she felt safe, warm. She then pulled away slightly and looked into his eyes and gave a genuine smile, before kissing his cheek. "Otoha-sama...." she said whispered softly with a thinking look on her face. She liked the way it sounded. "Does he like me? Or is he just delerious?" she thought to herself. She then looked into his eyes before setting him up a bit further, and smiling at him.
